Lincoln Minster School educates the choristers at Lincoln Cathedral and in addition has around 30 Music Scholars.

The school runs an express GCSE Music Course where GCSE music is taken in Year 9 and AS Music is also taken early.

Regular concerts are given each term and there is a lunch-time recital series in the Chapter House.

Both the Prep and Senior Schools offer a wide range of extra-curricular music activities including choirs, orchestras and Swing Band.

Queen Elizabeth's High School is an 11-18 mixed selective school.

The Music Department offers tuition in singing and the full range of orchestral instruments - over 250 pupils currently receive lessons in school.
There are well-established courses to GCSE, AS and A levels.
Each year, pupils move on to study Music at Universities/Music Colleges.

The school has a Choir, Orchestra, String Ensemble, Junior and Senior Bands and Junior and Senior Swing Bands as well as occasional smaller ensembles.

Concerts are held at the School and at Gainsborough Parish Church
